Food was super tasty, not expensive, service was quick and staff is nice! We’ve been there 3 times during the week in Bari. I recommend if you like good food for good price but please do not expect porcelain and linen tablecloths. Love it!

You have to love it for what it is: a fresh fish street food joint, supported and enjoyed by locals, that can be enjoyed by tourists. You arrive, grab a seat and decide on what to eat, then head inside, order and pay. A waiter will then bring out your food and check that the order number corresponds with the number you were given at payment. Yes... Nestled in the heart of a picturesque city alley, this restaurant is a true treasure for seafood lovers. The grilled gilt-head bream was cooked to perfection — tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The mussels in white wine broth were absolutely delicious, and the pasta served alongside was perfectly al dente. A wonderful spot to enjoy fresh, well-prepared seafood in a atmospheric location. Highly recommended!

Fantastic street food from Bari. The place isn’t fancy but seafood is absolutely fresh and it tastes delicious! The service is good but they are always yelling, so it’s a bit stressful, but after few days in Italy you get used to it. My plate doesn’t look great but it’s a local yummy dish that everyone should taste. (Potatoes, rice, mussels and cheeses) Highly recommend.

This isn’t fancy, but it’s authentic. So ridiculously good. It’s all fresh, a fishmonger’s or fisherman’s sourced restaurant. You choose what you want after getting a ticket, you pay, you wait, and you feast. We came here both days and will go every time we’re in Bari.

The best restaurant in town with everything you can dream and wish for eating, concerning the sea food! The lady who took care of us, is my favorite person in Bari... she is the best! I highly recommend it!!!

Came again for dinner! Grilled octopus was so fresh and delicious. Instead of mixed fried seafood, we ordered calamari only, which was amazing! Of course you can’t miss pasta in Italy, so what we had there was linguine with red shrimp & pistachio sauce. Overall, I will say this is the best local restaurant in Bari!

Walking thru Bari Vecchio is such a wonderful experience but coming across this small fish shop, with all the fresh fish displayed, in clean iced cases and fun loving people to smile and greet you, How could you NOT want to dine here!
So, we picked out our fish, (and pasta of course!) orecchiette of course too, in Bari! and because it was quite chilly we opted to sit in a very comfortable dining room behind the fish market, which was filled with MORE friendly people visiting Bari
It was delicious, fresh, reasonably priced and most of all, we were in BARI, dining on fresh fish in the heart of the land of San Nicolo!

I decided to sit here after seeing it full of locals on a Sunday midday (in my country this is a good sign). I enjoyed my food a lot, and in fact came several times. I had octopus salad, gratin mussels, frittura mista, riso patatine e cozze, impepata di cozze. All delicious! The service was very nice, they treated me very nicely and we even had some short conversations over the days. Definitely a place I would go back, specially because the frittura mista didn’t feel as deep fried as it does in many other places and because the personnel was welcoming. Grazie mille 🙂 It is possible to eat in or take away. When I visited they had 79 different options, most of them being fish but also some pasta starters.
